BARRY-O’S BBQ CHALLENGE

The most recent game I’ve worked on, this was another world-building game, but a little more grounded compared to Galactic Tank Force. Far less CG dependent, we still conveyed a story that was brought to life by 2D animations and live action BBQ footage. I had the unique challenge of animating artwork created for the physical part of the game. We had 7 illustrated characters in this game, and I created specific branding for each person, through the use of illustrated chalkboard animations.
Along with creating unique personas for each character, this game took place at a BBQ festival, where different car challenges were happening. I animated 6 different car challenges, all of which had unique success, fail, intro, running, etc. parts to them. Along with all of that, I illustrated and animated assets for Multiballs, assisted with UI/UX direction, and animated and designed critical game info screens.
